REDNECK SAFARIS

Well, turkey season is here and all the rednecks are ready to go. I got my bird on the second day of the season. I had to tromp through the mud to get him but I did it. He had an eight inch beard and about three quarter inch spurs. Kari got her bird about a week later. He was a nice jake. We are still looking for three more birds but they are getting harder to find with the limited public land around here, but I think we can do it. Well good luck and we will talk to you later.

Hello all. I just wanted to give everyone an update since I haven't been on in a while. No new kills!! I have been really busy with moving and work so I haven't had much time to hunt. Still trying to find some good places to dog hunt that everybody and their mother haven't already called a hundered times. Going out this weekend to a new spot, hopefully I can see one. I got my first dog of the year on Sunday. I was only settup for about ten minutes when he came sneeking in to about 30 yards. I had another dog that I was watching for when this one came from my upwind side just sneeking through the sage brush. I never did see the other dog. I am going out again next weekend and hopefully I will get another one until then good hunting.

Hey everyone, my deer and elk season is over for this year. I filled my doe tag but didn't get a chance at an elk. Thats alright, I had alot of fun anyway. We got snow the last two days we were there so it got kind of cold. Well I better go and get the rest of my stuff put away for the year. Good luck to those of you that are still hunting and be safe.
